Machakos Liberation Youth Congress (MLYC) is a dynamic, youth-driven initiative committed to empowering young people across Machakos County to rise, lead, and transform their communities. The movement brings together passionate, visionary, and socially conscious youths who believe in creating a society where young voices are valued, opportunities are accessible, and development is inclusive. At its core, MLYC stands for unity, empowerment, and positive transformation. The movement provides a platform where youths can freely express their ideas, challenge social barriers, and participate meaningfully in decision-making processes that shape their future. Through mentorship programs, leadership training, civic education, community service, and innovative economic empowerment activities, the movement seeks to unlock the full potential of every young person. MLYC advocates for good governance, accountability, and social justice, ensuring that youths are not only beneficiaries of development but active contributors and leaders in the journey toward a better Machakos. The movement also creates safe spaces where young people can network, support one another, and build the confidence needed to confront challenges such as unemployment, drug abuse, and social exclusion.
