Sickle Cell Warriors Charity Walk We are organizing the Sickle Cell Warriors Charity Walk from Nairobi to Busia to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with individuals living with sickle cell disease. Sickle cell is a lifelong genetic condition that affects many families in our communities. Despite its impact, awareness remains low and many warriors face pain, stigma, and misunderstanding silently. This walk is a symbol of support — while we walk the distance once, warriors walk through the challenges every day. The journey will bring together communities along the route to learn, support, and spread understanding about sickle cell disease. Purpose Promote awareness about sickle cell disease Encourage testing and early knowledge Support families and caregivers Give hope and emotional support to warriors. Message Together we walk to remind every warrior: You are seen. You are strong. You are not alone.
