Mission statement: Our Shiur series focuses on the Sefer Amud Hatfila (Pillar of Prayer), a compilation of quotes and teachings directly from the Baal Shem Tov on the topic of Tefila, with a particular focus on meditative prayer. Together we will explore the earlier Kabalistic sources behind these teachings, as well as how different branches of Chassidus later elaborated on these teachings with their own insights and innovations. Our goal is to create a true Chabura- a shared learning experience in which everyone is involved. Questions are welcome, comments are encouraged- the aim is to make these teachings accessible to all. I also hope to make myself available, bli neder, to anyone who would like to reach out during the week. May our learning bring greater depth to our Tefila and connection to Hashem for all who participate.
