Mercaz Yishmereni
*Happy to announce my new non-profit organization, Mercaz Yishmereni:*
- Assisting and supporting soldiers- wounded soldiers, soldiers suffering from post-trauma, combat soldiers, lone soldiers, reservists and and all their families, with a focus on Jerusalem (and other areas).
*New initiatives include:*
- *Say it With Cake Project* (Soldiers and families are paired up. Families visit the soldiers during the week of Rosh Hodesh with a cake/ cookies/ dinner.)
- *Burgers & Beers* (When wounded soldiers are well enough, they go out for dinner with a friend.)
- *Seder nights and Rosh Hashanah dinners for soldiers in hospital*
- *Cooking Therapy*
- *Tu B’Av Dinners*
- *Pre-Pesach cleaning help*
- *Afikoman Club* (Toys and gifts for kids of wounded soldiers)
- *Connecting wounded soldiers w/ volunteers abroad when they travel for treatment*
- *Manicures for spouses*
- *Special events and entertainment for soldiers in hospital and rehab*
- *Visiting wounded soldiers in hospital*
• *Succot Project- Assisting wounded soldiers with their Succah-Building*
