Unfortunately, many people have been programmed through several mediums into thinking that the twin books of Daniel and Revelation are closed books of the Bible that cannot be understood. But this assertion is not true. In fact, there are several portions in the book of Daniel that the prophet Daniel and many of his contemporaries understood clearly (Daniel chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and many portions of the other chapters in the book). However, it is also a true fact that there are also portions in the book of Daniel that the prophet himself could not understand (Daniel 8:27; Daniel 12:4; Daniel 12:8-10). But that is not the end of the story concerning these prophecies that could not be understood by the Prophet. For we are also told in Daniel 12:4, 9 that at the time of the end, a particular people who are described in Daniel 12:10 as "the wise" will understand these closed prophecies and the time has come when the wise are able to read and understand the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation.
