The *JNU LECTURE SERIES* has been initiated with the objective of creating an inclusive and intellectually vibrant platform that facilitates critical engagement between students and faculty members across the university.
Through this student-driven initiative, we aim to provide a space where professors from every Centre and School in JNU can present and discuss their academic work and explore pressing socio-political, cultural, and economic issues through informed discussions beginning with the Centre for Political Studies.
It is important to clarify that the *JNU LECTURE SERIES is not affiliated with any political party or organization; it stands independently as a non-partisan effort dedicated to fostering academic dialogue and critical thinking.*
The central purpose of this series is to engage with the diverse scholarly contributions of JNU's professors and to encourage rigorous debate around their ideas. Each session will feature a single speaker, allowing for *in-depth conversation and thoughtful exchange between the professor and the JNU student community.*
The *JNU LECTURE SERIES* also aspires to inspire students to think deeply, question rigorously, and engage actively with contemporary debates shaping India and the world.
Warm Regards
