Kingdom builders.
"The Kingdom Builders" is a community of individuals who actively participate in establishing, expanding, and demonstrating the principles and values of GOD'S Kingdom on earth. It's about living in a way that reflects GOD'S reign and purpose, and working to see that reign made manifest in the world around us.
Here's a breakdown of what it means to be a "Kingdom Builder," with relevant scriptures:
What Does it Mean to Be a Kingdom Builder?
Seeking GOD'S Kingdom First:
Kingdom Builders prioritize GOD'S Kingdom above all else. Their desires, actions, and goals are aligned with GOD'S will.
Matthew 6:33: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Living by Kingdom Values:
This involves embodying the characteristics and ethics of GOD'S Kingdom, such as love, justice, righteousness, peace, and joy. Kingdom Builders are called to be salt and light in the world.
Romans 14:17: "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
Matthew 5:13-16: (Salt and Light of the World)
Proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom:
A core aspect of Kingdom building is sharing the message of salvation and the good news of GOD'S reign with others.
Matthew 24:14: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
Serving Others and Making Disciples:
Kingdom Builders are called to serve their communities and to help others grow in their faith, extending the influence of the Kingdom through acts of compassion and teaching.
Matthew 28:19-20: (The Great Commission to make disciples)
Mark 10:45: "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
The Call to Build
We are called to actively use our gifts and resources to help GOD'S Kingdom grow, showing "HIS" love to the world while awaiting "HIS" return.
