The goal is to move all four of your tokens from the starting area (the "Yard") to the "Home" triangle in the center of the board before your opponents do.
Gameplay Basics
Starting the Game: To move a token out of the Yard and onto the starting square, you must roll a 6.
Movement: You move your tokens clockwise around the board based on the number shown on the die.
The Power of 6: * Rolling a 6 grants you an extra turn.
If you roll three 6s in a row, your turn is forfeited, and the die passes to the next player.
Capturing Tokens: If your token lands on a square occupied by an opponent's token, their token is "captured" and sent back to their Yard. You also earn a bonus roll.
Safe Squares: * Squares marked with a star or the colored starting squares are "Safe Zones."
Tokens cannot be captured while sitting on a Safe Zone, even if an opponent lands on the same spot.
Winning the Game
The Home Stretch: Once a token has completed a full circuit, it enters the colored "Home Path" leading to the center.
Entering Home: You must roll the exact number required to land in the center triangle. For example, if you are 2 squares away, you must roll a 2.
Final Bonus: Every time one of your tokens successfully reaches "Home," you receive a bonus roll.
Ludo Club Specific Modes
Classic: The standard rules described above.
Rush: A faster version where you don't need to roll a 6 to start, and the game ends much quicker.
Battle: Often played 1v1 where capturing the opponent's tokens is the primary strategy to win coins.
Pro-Tips
Don't pile up: Putting two of your own tokens on the same square doesn't create a "block" in Ludo Club like it does in some traditional variations; they can still be captured if it isn't a Safe Zone.
Strategic 6s: If you have a token near the Home triangle, use your 6s to get new tokens out of the Yard rather than overshooting your finish line.
